Karonesse Hindu
In the island of Sumatera, or in the past it was called Svarna Dvipa, there is a place called Tanah Karo. It was the land of Hindu whose tradition and customs were Bataknesse. A long time ago, Hindu was the only religion in Karo land, but nowadays Hindu is almost vanished. The Bintang Meriah small village has only 10 Hindu from 300 families. How terrible it is. Why? This is the responsibility of young generation in Hindu to pay attention to other area to strengthen the Hindu faith.
Fifteen years ago, there were still many Hindu fellower in Karo land. A Balinese has build a temple for their community while they were on duty around the area. Then they left the place, so there was no Hindu to maintain the temple. Grasses grew everywhere around the temple. This temple is located at the side of village road of Bintang Meriah village. It is about 1 km south wise from Tanjung Pulo, Perbesi, or 8 kilometer east side of Tiganderket.
